    Default Advice about Greek Mandolins from The Bouzouki Shop Polydorou?

    Anybody experienced with mandolins from "The Bouzouki Shop Polydorou" in Athens, Greece ?
    These mandolins are supposedly made by D. Polydorou, which is the same as the name of the shop. Their back is made of stripes, but is much flatter than the back of Italian mandolins.
    I tried them 10 years ago when I visited Athens, and they seemed very nice.

    I am in Athens again now and considering going to the shop to have a look, but I would be happy to get an opinion before going from someone who has experience with them.
    I'm afraid I'd just buy one, and for around 1000 Euros it would be a pity if they turn out to have serious flaws.
    Unfortunately, I don't have my mandolin with me here in Greece, so I cannot compare the sound, playability, etc.
