Hi guys! I recently got this custom mandolin from Ken. I figured I would share it since it is quite unique. I call it the thornbush.
-And yes, it sounds even better than it looks. Blew my Northfield out of the water!

Very cool!
That’s one sweet looking mandolin! Congratulations.
Very unique and beautiful. I like the color and the thornbush motif. It reminds me of something the prince could have used to charm his way through the thicket to reach the enchanted princess
Most of the time when a mandolin is described as "quite unique" it's a euphemism for "hot mess." Not this time! The color is really nice and the inlays are eye-catching but not gaudy. If it sounds anywhere near as good as the one Silverangel I have had a chance to play, Ken hit it out of the park.
So many beautiful things going on with that mandolin!
Congrats

Nice!
Gibson A-Junior snakehead (Keep on pluckin'!)
That’s one sweet mandolin! I like instruments that are a little different as long as they’re well done, and Ken’s really got his tone dialed in…so, you don’t have a “novelty,” but you have a really good mandolin with a distinct, eye catching appearance. Enjoy!
very very cool mando!
i've always thought i would like a green mandolin after i saw i think a Girouard in green when i first started.
