Thread: Low profile arm rests

    Default Low profile arm rests

    Hey Guys,

I like having an arm rest, for comfort. Currently have a Mclung, which i like. But am looking for something lower profile.

The Northfield looks like it'd do the trick, but they are out of stock.

    Any other recommendations?

    Cheers,

    Brian

What's the thickness of the McClung? I have a Banjolit Dr. Arm mandolin armrest that is 12mm / 0.473in thick. It's quite comfortable.

I bought a Cumberland and it did the trick. I really enjoy the Mclung but the angle from the arm rest to the bracket causes it to stick out more, even with a similar thickness of armrest. If that makes sense.

I think you all just have a love of attaching things to you instruments, I've never used an armrest, it'a no impediment to me.

Well if you never used one, you might want to try it first! :-D
