Pregnancy Loss Month Project: Mandolin and some other instruments
Hope Never Lost is a lovely tune written by hammered dulcimer player Matthew Dickerson in honor of his stillborn infant sister. I've been wanting to learn it for a while. For pregnancy loss month this year I worked out an arrangement for mandolin, bass recorder, trombone, and hammered dulcimer. Matthew kindly gave me permission to post a cover on YouTube. The images are taken from a journal I kept during our pregnancy loss journey, which turned into a book. The mandolin is a Fylde Single Malt.
