Thread: Help identifying a country gospel tune

Default Help identifying a country gospel tune

There is a song I'm looking for called (to the best of my knowledge) "A Little Love Goes a Long Way."
    The artist is Gary Upright.
I searched for the artist but could find no trace of a "Gary Upright" on the internet.
A search for the song title only yielded results for a song by Gary LeVox and Mercy Me.
Any help that could be given would greatly be appreciated!

I don't know if it's the same song but the Oak Ridge Boys did a song that is similar. It's on Youtube. I'm not familiar with the artist you named.

I gotta believe "Gary Upright" is a pseudonym for a gospel singer -- the blues equivalent would be "Gary Lowdown," I guess.

There are several gospel songs with similar titles available from Google search; some are performed on YouTube. And I ran across a Mike Upright singing gospel music. No direct hits from searching, though.

Then again, he might play the bass.
