    Quite interesting...it also shows how a folk tune could sound jazzy/and or 20th cent dissonant "classical" style.

    Thank you for your response. Yes, I tried to combine folk song and classical music of the 20th century. You described it well.

    This is perfect. Next time I forget to switch harmonicas between songs I’ll tell the band I’m experimenting with bitonality.

    That was interesting, and a good choice of familiar tunes to demonstrate it.

    And if you mess up the rhythm, just say you're experimenting with polyrhythms. Who needs rules?
