Default Help me date a Lyon & Healy C model

I have inherited a lovely short scale Lyon & Healy C model mandolin. I would like to find out when it was built. It has a serial number of 1296. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

With that number, I would put it in the early to mid 1920's.
We do not have any detailed lists of L & H numbers that I know of, so we have no way of narrowing it down to an exact year.
    These are good mandolins.

If it's short-scale it should have patent dates on both the tailpiece base and the pickguard.

Does it have a pull-out rest? (It shouldn't but I have owned one Style C that did.)

Does it have the lyre tailpiece or a Waverly cloud tailpiece?

What about the label? In 1925 L&H started using a label that said 'Lyon & Healy" near the top and "WASHBURN" below it.

YES IT DOES - Pickguard: PAT 11-12-18
Tailpiece (a bit hard to read): PAT 14-15-19

    NO.

I WOULD SAY 'LYRE' BUT I WOULD HAVE TO SEE EXAMPLES OF EACH TO BE SURE.

    NO 'Washburn' on the label.

If you could post a clear photo of the label, it will help. Thank you.
