Default Cross mandolins vs Eastman (815) & Kentucky 1050/1500

    Hey,

I am looking at a Cross mandolin in which I cannot get my literal fingers on. I can't many videos with good audio of the Cross instruments. I can get a Kentucky KM 1500, an Eastman 815, or 3 different Cross mandolins for $2,000. I don't want an A. I would appreciate any feedback on tonality, playability and consistency of these to help me make the best choice of these three as I am geographically restricted from playing them. Thank you very much for your feedback.Adam

Having played everything on your list, I personally would go for the KM1500.

Thank you Fernmando! The KM 1500 sold at that price before I pulled the trigger.
