Default Traditional “Gibson” Tone mandolin on a budget

    Hello,
Maybe I’m looking for the impossible, but I’m looking for a budget Bluegrass mandolin that is well made of solid woods with a traditional tone rather than the “modern” tone. My budget is around £1000 or $1500
    Thanks

The Loar LM 600 may be your ticket.

Look around for a used Gibson A-9 with the brown body.
