Condolences to Barry's family and friends.
I will miss seeing the evolution of Barry's and his wife's instruments. When I first decided to buy a mandolin, I called Barry to see if one of his might be located near me to try out. I did not know him, but I saw good reviews on the Mandolin Cafe. He did not know the location of any in this area. I mentioned an interest in perhaps building one myself. His voice lit up, and he emphatically suggested I give it a try. That's where I've been ever since, and I'm thankful for his encouragement.
RIP Barry.
I'm sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to his friends and family.

Hello this is Sabine, Barry's wife.
I'm still in disbelief and heartbroken. I just want to say thank you to all of you who supported us all these years. And thank you so much for all the nice words and condolences. It means a lot and I really appreciate it and Barry would have to. He is and always will be my everything.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Sabine Kratzer
