Thank you for passing these along. Since I already have the Eastwood electric, instead of a new instrument, they have me hankering for an octave pedal!!

Tristan's creative playing and skills highlights the world electrics give players access to. At the price (and with the caveat these seem to typically need some setup) I found Eastwood offers a mando player a lot of fun expanding their sound.

Thanks for sharing those Scott! Those Eastwood electrics are intriguing to a lot of us. It's good to see product demo's done by someone who actually a recognized player. Tristan did a wonderful job showing some of the highlights of the instrument, and his playing!

I have the Eastwood electric octave MRG ( 8 string)- originally sold as a mandocello -with a 23.5 inch scale that seemed more octave to me love it.

Looks like a great deal of fun! As others have said, it's nice to see a real Mando- player demo-ing these oppose to a guitar player fiddling (no pun intended) around.

If dilution is the solution to pollution then compression must be the solution to E-mando E string diminution. Or that seems to be the subliminal message written in so many E-mando reviews. I'm definitely E-mando curious. I've got me a compressor sustainer pedal and I might even use it one day if I'm ever able to put down my Buckeye F5 long enough to plug in.

Does anyone know if the Eastwood Mandomagic takes ball or loop end strings?
Play that which you feel is groovy, get down with your bad self, and shake your money maker if it makes sense for you to do so.

When the camera scans the pedal board it shows an EHX micro POG.

This gives me someplace to branch out from on a recently-acquired Flight Pathfinder, from a guy who knows his stuff. Nice tip on the compression.

Hi. I don’t know if someone answered this for you but it takes ball end electric guitar strings. Eastwood sells a custom pack for it made by GHS or you could buy what you need separately.
