can someone please give me the distance from the end of the fingerboard to the mandolin top please. unfortunately I think I may have a problem.

action is way to high, bridge is as low as can go. comparing with photos I found on the internet it appears the neck angle has changed, but I just am not sure what has happened. I will try to get a photo posted.

Neck angle from the pix looks good-your bridge base has serious meat brother, I'd fit that baby down! There appears way too much wood on the base? Thats what I would do.

How much relief is in the neck? Was the action good and then changed or is this a new acquisition for you? Fret the first fret and the 12th fret on the G string and look for how much gap is between the string and the frets around the 6-7th fret. Too much relief can make your action high.

You need to take that to a real mandolin luthier for a check-up.

I agree with William that your base looks pretty robust. It may need to be fit better anyway, hard to tell from pic. I also agree with Steve S. as a mandolin luthier can look at all of the issues to identify. If this is a new to you acquisition, I would check the string gauge as I understand the neoclassical model is built to be used with light gauge strings.
