    I am sharing this tune once more with the community. Forrest O'Connor takes a solo in the last half of the song that just really places this piece of music in an entirely different context for me. I know the first time I heard his take, it was an early morning coffee experience I won't soon forget. It still makes me chuckle.

    Yes, it really adds a lift to the tune and enhances the mood and feel. So cool. Nice to be able to work with Forrest.

    Thank you Don, yes, it certainly does lift the tune into a different place when Forrest takes his break. Pretty cool to witness how someone of that skill level approaches a break. It has been a wonderful experience.

    I hadn't come across the original recording without the written mandolin part since the final version was completed. The initial piece was two tracks(both guitar).
    Forrest's contribution changed the entire complexity of the song. For anyone interested, here is the original idea:
