    Default Banjo dowel stick reset

Can anyone recommend an experienced luthier to reset the dowel stick in my Pat. 1893 Luscomb 5-string? I would prefer someone in New England since I live on Cape Cod. Thanks, Jim

Jake Wildwood is in Vermont and has a great rep on the Cafe. I’d give him a call to start with…

Bob Smakula's shop in WV is considered one of the finest around for this type work. I've had him set a couple of dowel sticks for me. Tremendous work! I believe Andy did the work on mine. He's very reasonable on return shipping too.
