    Default Another Flatiron numbering question

I have delved deep, but not deep enough apparently…. Montana Flatirons
First two digits: the year, 2nd two: the month and last 4, the number made.. was the serial number reset on the first day of every month or is it a cumulative total for the model?
    Thanks Charlie

I am curious about this also. I recall someone saying that the last four digits represented the total of "all models" made that month. I don't know where I heard or saw this but hoping someone on the Cafe can clarify or correct this.
My A52 is 83060030...I assumed it was the 30th instrument produced at Boseman in June of 1983.
