Awesome podcast, Don, thanks for pointing to it.

I began learning to sing Homer & Jethro songs at around age four, my aunt had all their records and suffered me to spend many hours in her living room playing them over and over … she was a saint. My favorite was Don’t Jump Off Of The Roof Dad

It’s only been in recent years since I took up the mandolin that I’ve realized what a jazz master Jethro was, and it’s definitely a gift to the world to have those Legacy recordings. Many thanks to Jethro, and to you and Dawg and everyone else involved with preserving them.

BTW, David’s off the cuff comment about downloading the PDFs blew my mind. I had purchased numerous recordings from him in digital format, and assumed that I just had to forgo the liner notes by not purchasing physical discs. Now, I finally have that awesome booklet that accompanies Tone Poems as well.

    Happy picking, Don
