Sure, sorry about that I started building mandos back in 2002.... from 2002 to 2006 I built 32 mandos, mostly F models a few A models and also a couple guitars. I pretty much quit building due to life circumstances, divorce in 2007 and had to sell my shop, tools, instruments, house etc. Basically built a few F's from then till now with mostly hand tools. Specs are Carpathian top hard rock flame maple back and sides, varnish/french polish, Asymetrical speed neck, golden age tuners, bone nut, James tailpiece.

Congrats! Your new Rose mandolin sounds great, especially for it being brand new, very traditional tone, and it is very good looking too, a very classic look.

Impressive, resonant and nice balance. Darby does it have a light feel, regarding the weight of the instrument? Beautiful work.

Thank you very much! I would say weight wise it is in the mid range... not extremely light but not heavy either... the pick guard, james tailpiece, and solid steel end pin add some extra weight to it... but other wise not to bad

I'm the guy noodling around on it in that video. It's a very good sounding and playing mandolin. Very mid-focused (I think folks would describe it as traditional or Loar-like) and didn't feel at all like it was just strung up for the first time. Whoever snagged that one is in for a real treat.

Did it sell? It looks like it is still posted in the classifieds. Great looking and sounding instrument.
