Hey all, I'm still laid up with a busted leg - so more charts!
I've been adding Scales Studies to my site to help provide a reference for various scales. I'm looking for some feedback on the layout I've been using.
Right now, I just have Major, Major Pentatonic, and Minor Pentatonic up - but I plan to add others (like the modes, minor scales, and etc).
Charts are here: https://mattcbruno.com/scale-studies/
These charts have 2 or 3 pages:
1 page of "straight through" practices where the scale is played note for note up / down the neck.
1 page of practices in 3rds for those scales.
1 page of "riff ideas" - currently only on the MAJOR PENTATONIC charts as I decided to add it based on previous feedback and haven't updated the minor pentatonic or major scale yet.
The purpose of these is to be used as a warm up mainly (at least pages 1 and 2) and to help add to the "bag of tricks" licks (page 3).
Looking forward to your feedback on the 3 layouts of this practice / study .
If you don't like the layout etc I'd love to know why and/or what would be better for you personally.
If you do like it, just let me know - it helps me stay motivated to add more
Thanks!
