    Default Red Allen and Frank Wakefield "Mountain Strings".

    Anybody know how Frank tuned his mandolin for this tune? Is it the same as Monroe's "Get Up John" tuning?

    Frank is one of those people that he's as much fun to listen to him talk as listen to him play.
    It does sound the same as Get Up John tuning to me, but what do know

    Who is playing bass? They are good! Ole Don is getting the most out of that five. Chubby's sweet swing fiddle is in pure juxtaposition to Frank's manic mando.
