    Hi Neil, sure would like to see this proof as I believe that there was no Guido Volpe. There was, however, a Gennaro Volpe who arrived in late 1894 and astonished New York audiences with rave reviews where he claimed to play for the King of Sweden. I'll attach his debut & I have other citations that back it up. Let me know if you can copy the Bettini wording but I'm almost 100% certain, the "G" stood for "Gennaro" Volpi. As a favor, would you publish the image of Gennaro Volpe please! I’d love to see what he looked like.

    The name was given as Guido Volpe in the Grammophone Labelography, but Ugo Orlandi had already told me a few months ago that Gennaro was the correct name, and I had corrected it on my website 2 months ago.
