Oops - sorry if the formatting on the above is odd, I'm trying to add a png file from a phone screenshot...
thesession.org lists several different names for this tune, including Twiglet (mmm, now I want a packet of Twiglets!): https://thesession.org/tunes/7746

2015 JP "Whitechapel" tenor banjo
2018 Frank Tate tenor guitar

Thanks Jill - yes, An Dro Vannetaise is the name I know. 'Twiglet' indeed (!). Sounds like someone at a UK session forgot the name and said the first thing that came to mind...
An Dro is the name of a dance type in Breton music, which leads to all sorts of confusion when people enter tunes in a database like thesession.org from Irish players who discover Breton music and record a tune on albums.
This is a cool tune, I should learn it.
The confusion about Breton tunes isn't helped by very few having names. I have a collection of something like 1,000 Breton tunes which is often known as The Green Book (guess what colour it is?), and most just have numbers. Try shouting "937" for the next tune to play in a session and see where that gets you
James Dumbelton mandolin and friend on bouzouki do a fine job on this set of An Dro and Hanter Dro tunes.
An important aspect of the music is how it's rhythm fits the dance steps. (Or 'the other way around')
So here are some videos showing music with dancing.
