Strings on Lyons and Healy 1900-1910 bowlback mandolin.

Have an old Lyons/Healy Jupiter bowlback mando. It is in pretty good shape (no cracks, etc.) I want to put strings on it and am looking for advice, guidance, on guage, brand, and material.

The best short term idea is to get the lightest gauge strings for it. GHS ultra light- which are 9-32 would be an inexpensive starting point. You can buy them mail order if you cannot find them locally from this company: https://www.stringsandbeyond.com/?gc...MaArjLEALw_wcB
