Default Mandolin Strings for Rigel Q95 Mandikin

    Hi,
I have just bought a Rigel Q95 mandolin. It seems to be strung with '10's'.I just wondered what people's experience of these mandolins is-do you find light gauge strings work/sound best with them.? I appreciate this is a subjective thing, but it is a very distinctive sounding/and designed, mandolin. Many thanks.
Incidentally are you aware of any current players who favour light strings generally?I'm just curious. Cheers

I’ve had a Rigel A+ Deluxe for 20 years, and have used EJ-73 light gage strings, pretty much the whole time.
