Question Looking for luthier in upper Midwest

Does anyone know (or are you) an experienced mandolin maker in the upper Midwest (Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota)? I have some well-seasoned bird’s-eye maple that I’d like to see become part of a mando I commission to honor my father-in-law, who was a woodsman in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and who set it aside decades ago.

At the top of the page where it says "Builders", click on that. Then, in the search field, enter Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota one by one and see who comes up.

Steve Boeh makes a nice mandolin. You can find him on Facebook.

I'll shamelessly throw my hat in the ring as I'm in the Twin Cities Minnesota area.

You should also consider Steve Hinde. He's in Northern Iowa.
