Thread: NMD and got the blues

Default NMD and got the blues

Well, actually Iím delighted. Itís the mandolin that has the blues. Itís a blue Morris A4. I met Sonny last week and loved the sound of this one. I picked it up today! Now Iíll have to learn to play some blues. Or bluegrass

It took my wife a couple of trips through the living room before she asked ďwhere did THIS one come from?Ē

I canít really do it justice (new to stringed instruments a year and a half now) but hereís what it sounds like so far:

    Very nice sounding mando!

Your playing & singing is also very excellent.

I normally can't stand listening to entire videos of this nature, but yours is top-notch! I watched and enjoyed the whole thing!

    A pleasure to my ears!

    Keep it up!

So how many are you up to now, Don?

This looks cool and sounds great.
I have Morris flat top #450 and it is a very nice mandolin.

Thanks Sue! I guess I’m up to five now. Six if you count the MSO that I started with

Yes Louise, I couldn’t pretend that one of my existing herd had inexplicably turned blue… I had to fess up that the cute little fella had followed me home.

And thanks for the encouragement daLimuHead!
