Default Wilson Mandolins has moved to east Tennessee

Just after the 1st of the year (2022) we packed up lock, stock and barrel and moved from central California to Loudon, Tennessee just a little south of the Knoxville area. The move proved to be daunting with household goods and all my shop tools (some big and heavy) but we did it and love the area as well as our new digs! It took some remodeling to get the shop going but now at last it's up and running and I'm back at mandolin construction. I currently have a WF-5 near completion and two WTP-5 mandolins as well as a WH-5 mandola in various stages of construction. I still strive to build quality, vintage influenced instruments in limited runs and welcome all inquiries!

Loudon County! That's "God's country" right there. Just beautiful there.
Keep your eyes and ears peeled for Ted Davis' work.

Thanks Erik! I actually did a mando build a few years back with wood from the Ted Davis "stash".
