Default Fingering for closed position arpeggios

I am assuming there is a correct fingering for close position arpeggios. Does anyone have a handy reference for this? Thanks!

"Correct fingering' is a variable topic. From the closed scale, you can finger the arpeggio in each starting position. For a major arpeggio starting with index finger on the root, fret position noted (string crossing denoted by '/'):
    15/16
    middle finger 37/3/1
    ring finger 5/25/3
    little finger 7/47/5

Of course you'd want to be able to play an arpeggio starting from each interval with any finger, ie, index finger on the major third, etc. A fair amount of work and some fingerings will quickly become easier to handle than others.

I don't know of a pictorial representation anywhere, but you could easily draw it out on a fingerboard sheet.

Jazzmando.com for mando. For octave or bouzouki etc. it depends.
    Good luck and Welcome!

Right, these are the frets for the major chord arpeggios for Ab, Bb, C, and D. (Or for Eb, F, G, and A if you start on the D course.)

The fingerings for the same chords, both major and minor, will then be:
    13/14
    24/2/1
    3/13/2
    4/24/3

Think of an arpeggio as a scale with a few notes omitted. You're playing the root, 3rd, 5th, and upper root of each scale, and the fingering is the normal scale fingering.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks all. I’ll review the work to digest this. I appreciate your responses!

    https://jazzmando.com/FFcP.pdf

-learn page three off by heart, it starts on Ab. Try to work out how you would play that in the open position ie. in G major.
You basically shift page three down towards the headstock by one fret. And of course change the fingering to adapt.
