Default Mandolin stand food multiple mandolins

If you have multiple mandolins like I do, and I’m sure that most of you do, this stand will be perfect for you. I have it in the 7 slot version and I still have a spare slot to fill. 😁 The sellers were great to work with and the stand is great. Those just so happen to be my mandolins in the photos!

I love it, but it would not work for me. I only have the particular mandolin I am playing out of the case, all others are in their cases. I would only need one slot, or occasionally two if I happen to have two mandolins out.

I know that many do keep their mandolins out and this is a rather handsome way to organize things.

I used to keep mine in cases as well until my mandolins exceeded my cases and I was able to keep them on a stand in a humidity controlled room. I like to switch around a lot depending on what I’m playing and it sure is convenient to grab a different one from the stand when I want it. If I didn’t have a safe space for my mandolins in this stand, they would definitely be in a case.

You can easily modify a cheaper guitarstand to mandolins.

I made one for different sized ukuleles and romanic guitars.

One for same size mandolins is much easier.

Very nice! And you have an impressive collection of mandolins.

Just a word of caution about multi-instrument stands: if the thing falls over or gets knocked over, then you have a lot of instruments hitting the floor at once!

I used to use one for gigs as it took up less room than 3 individual stands (mandolin, banjo and OM) until it got knocked over one day and all my instruments spilled out across a concrete floor... fortunately they survived that time, but it's not something I ever want to see again!

In a home environment though, I can see why many folks would like them, although I'll stick to cases for the time being.

I'm very interested, but only have 2 mandolins and then the guitar-sized stuff (guitar, octave, mandocello). I sent a message to see if they could make something that might accommodate both.

Three potential issues: earthquakes, children, and inebriated friends and family. That being said, it is pretty cool seeing all the mandolins displayed!

This is perhaps more for performance than home use, and clearly, this won't work for all people in all situations, but it sure is the most cost-efficient method I've seen.

Fortunately, in WV, earthquakes are not a factor. Inebriated friends and family also isn’t a risk in my teetotaling life. Children are definitely a risk to my instruments, but so far so good. My stand is in my music room where Children should only be if they’re old enough and respectful.
