    He's well-known for guitars, both steel string and classical....it appears that he may have produced a few mandolins early in his career.

    I can confirm that Mr. LoPrinzi built guitars with the "Augustino" brand. I have not encountered any mandolins by him.
    He was still in business as of a few years ago, but has not updated his website since 2015: www.augustinoloprinzi.com
