    I have zero finialcial intersest in this instrument. (I am jonesing one, though)

    1300 euros? Really?

    Seems a bit steep to me.

    I agree. Bit more than a little steep! (at least so for the U S) But Austria, perhaps supply and demand dictates this price?

    It's in line with recent asking prices. No idea whether it's in line with recent selling prices.

    $5000, marked down to the low, low price of $4000....for one that's been refinished and given the "road worn" treatment.

    You could buy one of these others listed for 1200-1300-ish, spend the same ~$700 seller spent to have theirs refinished and relic-ified, and still save a mint versus that listing.
