Can folks share who they think are the best mandolin teachers in the San Francisco Bay area? I’m intermediate looking to reach advanced so looking for someone with chops and strong technical knowledge. Thanks!

Drop in at Gryphon, 211 Lambert, Palo Alto and ask them? Maybe telephone first.

I remember hearing Sharon Gilchrist teaches somewhere in the East Bay. This is not current information.

Jack Tuttle taught at Gryphon for years. I don’t think they are hosting lessons anymore so Jack is on Zoom. Jack is Molly Tuttle‘s father. Here is his website: http://www.jacktuttle.com

Marla Fibish is a great irish mandolin player and a wonderful teacher. Check out her website: https://www.marlafibish.com/. She also has classes on Peghead Nation as well.
