Default Song Breakdown: Clinch Mountain Backstep

    Hey all
I just posted my Song Breakdown for Clinch Mountain Backstep.

The breakdown includes the basic melody and chords in two positions, help with counting on the "backstep", and the Doug Dillard variation which is pretty fun.

You can check out the breakdown here https://mattcbruno.com/2022/07/07/so...tain-backstep/

Let me know what you think and happy picking!!

Good stuff Matt! Keep 'em coming. You might as well throw the term "crooked" in your description of this one. Crooked Tune

If you take the "backstep" (the extra beat in the B part) out of this tune it is Lonesome John, an old Kentucky tune. Ralph put that backstep in that tune to make his banjo instrumental. I heard it from the horse's mouth.
