Leon Johnson might be able to help. I think he lives near Des Moines. Mitchellville? He might know someone who teaches. He and I were in the service togethert a lifetime ago.

Keith Yoder is going to be up to the Kalona Bluegrass festival next weekend and will do some one on one in person instruction Thursday July 21 beforehand. He is now living in Tennessee but does Zoom lessons and is a wonderful instructor on many instruments including mandolin. If you PM me I can give you his e mail. The Strawberry Jam Camp is the week after, July 27, 28 and 29 just before the Backbone Bluegrass Festival. The link is below. Both Kalona and the Backbone Festivals are great places to hook up with pickers in Iowa.
