Beautiful; 6 courses I see. I know the instrument evolved and adapted in different settings but I don't think I've seen 6 on a mandolin, as opposed to lute or early guitasr. So I'm curious if you base these instruments on specific historical models, old written plans, or paintings...?

Baroque mandolins had 4, 5 or 6 courses. Your instrument will be ready approximately 10 months after ordering, as previously described by e-mail.

Thanks for your kind words. I buy peg blanks and then shape them to fit myself.
