I just found an old, forgotten pick box tucked away in the back of a drawer. In it are a bunch of the original David Grisman picks, all unplayed. These have to be from the 90s at least, maybe even 80s, but I have no idea. I'll be happy to send one to each of the first six pickers who want one. Your preference, you can either PM me with your address or to ask for mine and you can send a SASE, just like the old cereal boxtop days. They're just going to waste here and I'm never going to use them.

If you'd like one, please say so in the comments — that way after the first come, first served six, others will know not to bother.

They have been my favorite pick for 40 plus years though I can't seem to make them move as well now-a-days.

No I don't use that style pick, but I'd like to say thanks for the kind gesture. One of the reasons this mandolin community is so special.

Like Bob, I appreciate the gesture. However, I am not one that could benefit from a vintage Dawg pick!

All the better for those of you that can.

Got my pick today, Thanks again, Brian!

I pulled out the Strad-O-Lin right away and took it for a test drive. Interesting pick. I've been using rounder ones lately, so I'll be spending some time experimenting with this one.

What an awesome place this is with so many generous folks!

'Scuse me, but in my role as Captain Obvious, I feel compelled to point out the obvious: offer made 9 PM Monday, all six offers accepted by 10:28 PM Monday, offer's end announced 10:50 PM. Monday. The time to express interest in acquiring one of these (kindly offered) picks is long gone. Obviously, it's a good idea to read all the posts in a thread so you're up to date before posting. Obviously.

Thank you Brian. I had one of these picks many years ago and it was a favorite. It feels good to play with one again, and it helped make sense of my pick choices I've made since. Really appreciate you sharing it with me.
