Thread: SW Missouri?

  1. #1

    Default SW Missouri?

Looking for any groups to link up with. I am a newer player with only a month under my belt. However, I pretty much practice all the time, lunch breaks, down time and after work for an hour or two until the wife gets a headache. Anyways, looking for some other folks to maybe learn from in a group session near Springfield, MO.

    Thanks

See if you can find this bunch from Winter's Bone. I believe they're locals from southwest Missouri (the Springfield auction barn appears in the movie).

Robert Johnson's mother, describing blues musicians:
"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."
