Default ID? F-style mandolin with Eagle front/back and wood trim

Anyone know who made this mandolin? Seller says received as a gift and has no info.

That instrument looks like it was made in Vietnam by a shop known as "Antonio Tsai". A lot of bling but they have a poor reputation as far as tone or longevity is concerned.

I agree with Charley. It was made in Vietnam and sold by one of two sellers on eBay. It was either Bruce Wei or Antonio Tsai. They still sell on eBay and their specialties are blinged up instruments such as this one.

Agree with Charley and Mike. This one is interesting in that it has a somewhat Americana eagle theme. Most of the Vietnam stuff has ornate dragon inlays. The more I look at it, the eagle starts looking like a dragon....

That was my first thought but the front does look a bit plain for one of theirs.

Without getting too graphic, that scroll looks like something limp.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I see the resemblance with the inlays. The decorated pick guard resembles some Alulu examples; I think that headstock inlay was from their 'Phoenix' model.
The rear eagle with 3 arrows instead of 13, and facing the wrong way seems odd, but the artist may not have realized it mattered.

Whatever the pearly predator, a ToneGuard will keep it from getting loose.

They have dropped some of the bling but I always said that if they ever figured out what the mandolins were supposed to really look like and eased out the pearl that they'd sell a whole lot of these.
