Default Moved to Kazakhstan, need free sheet music until stuff arrives

Howdy everyone, I recently moved to Almaty, Kazakhstan from Virginia, and most of my things haven't arrived yet. Thankfully my mandolin has, but none of my sheet music has. That may take several months. I recently took about a 6 month break after having played classical mandolin consistently about 10 years (including playing domra in a Russian orchestra) in order to prepare for the move to Kazakhstan. I'll be here a couple of years.

I picked up the mandolin today and played, and it was such a good feeling, although to say I'm rusty would be an understatement. I can feel my fingers not falling on the frets the way they used to, and the tone is nowhere near what it used to be. But that's to be expected. In addition to doing some ear training I'll be doing, I'm wondering if there is free sheet music with exercises that covers the whole neck. Scales, arpeggios, whatever. I have found a bunch of stuff in first position, but I want something to get back into changing positions, and tide me over until my books arrive. Hopefully something I can print out. Thanks for any help.

Man, I really want to start making music again. bb

Thanks Simon! I bought your New Celtic Mandolin album years ago, which I've really enjoyed. Have it on my phone.

IMSLP.Org has a lot of the violin literature and something like sevcik might be good to look into among other tutors.

Have you been to the Kazakh Museum of Folk Instruments in Almaty?
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakh...al_Instruments

I visited there about 20 years ago and was guided around by a local musician and talented dombra (2- and 3-string) player called Abylai (I think).

He followed me around switching on and off lights as I moved from room to room, let me play some of the dombras and then gave me a concert in the small auditorium, in which he played tunes and rhythms from all along the Silk Road from Italy to China. Then sold me a cassette which I might even still have somewhere

Well, it's about a year and a half later. I did get to that museum, and it is absolutely amazing. Traditional instruments, particularly from Central Asia, but from all over the world. Loved it.
