Thread: Mandolins on the cover of Fisherman's Blues?

Default Mandolins on the cover of Fisherman's Blues?

There are two mandolins on the cover of the Waterboys' album Fisherman's Blues. One is pretty obviously a Flatiron pancake (maybe a 2M?), but the other one is harder to identify, as it has f-holes but they don't look like the f-holes on the Flatiron pancake model I can find a photo of (though everything else, including the 'sunburst' finish, looks like a Flatiron). Is it a Flatiron or is it something else? (You will probably need to find a better image of the album cover, this is the best I can do right now)

Here is the only photo I can find of the f-hole flat top.

Did they maybe make some with more traditionally shaped f-holes?

Here's a better photo. Wow the bridge is in a really strange position too.
