    Default The Break (jazz original)

I put this up on Soundcloud in late June, and I see it's now been played three times. So I'm giving it a little nudge. Quartet number for mandolin, guitar, bass and drums, recorded around 2007. Danny Parker on bass gets the last word (as he often did).

    Hope you enjoy.

Yes indeed, Bruce. I went through a divorce (ouch!) and then a stroke left me in a wheel chair in 2016. But I'm well, alive, and still enjoying music listening and the great Mandolin Cafe.

Hello Bruce, very nice to hear from you and thanks for following me on Soundcloud. Now I found you, too. There´s a beautiful collection of music on your soundcloud. I love the waltzes.

Thank you, Michael! It's only a few days ago I first noticed your SC link in your cafe signature and checked it out. I was really impressed with your recordings, and the range of your projects. Keep it up!

Nice tune, very interesting. I was compelled to hear your solo a few times. Prepare to be transcribed!

Hey Bruce. Really enjoyed this! Gets your foot tapping and puts smile on the face. I haven’t played Mando much in years. This makes me want to. Cool Original

Great chord progression-voicings and fantastic feel and I love all those recognizable motifs! Everybody rocks in this session.
