Did Rigel sue Fender over these?
A friend of mine picked one of them up really cheap, and it was a pretty good amplified stage mandolin. Not much acoustic tone though.

I used to own one I actually bought from Ted Eschliman of Jazzmando and Cafe moderator fame. Blueburst. Very, very cool. Agree they’re good, inexpensive plug and play mandos (I bought mine for praise band at church). Agree also that the acoustic tone is NOT in the realm of my Rigel CT-110. It wasn’t turrible unplugged and Ted’s description was spot on, so no surprises, but I was glad I had other unplugged options. I eventually gave it to my brother who’s still playing it…

    Question Re: Fender FM62 SCE

FM 61 was a tele like outline that is a public domain shape I suppose , given how many adopted it.

    is like dancing,
