    Default TI bridge compensation

As a practical matter, have any of you felt a need to change the bridge compensation when converting to the Tomastic Stark strings?

I currently use the Thomastik mettle/medium and didn’t find any different compensation that I could hear or see with a strobe tuner with my bridge when I changed from the D’Addario EJ74’s on my mandolin.

No, it has never been a problem on any of my mandolin family instruments.

I got extra interchangeable saddles made after I noticed that the TI's (medium) wound A's got flatter as I ventured up the neck.
