Mahogany top wood

I am replacing the top on a 1947 Martin 00-17 and am having trouble finding mahogany to match the old top. Several suppliers offer parts for a uke but they are too small. I need a piece that is 20in tall and 15in wide. It could be sapele but would really like mahogany to match the original piece.. The thing has been abused for many years, but I still want to try. I don't want to to sink the farm in the stuff so can anyone direct me in the right direction ???

I've been messing around with building some all-mahogany 1930s Martin-style 000s. The mahogany comes from my hardwood supplier, and they have some pretty nice stuff. Once resawn and thickness sanded, it's excellent instrument wood. Comparatively cheap, too. Seems like a 2-foot hunk of 4/4 x 8" should do fine.

Or, as 707erich suggested, $51 to LMI will get you topwood that's ready to go. That's probably the smart move.
