    Default 1919 Gibson F4 in the classifieds

    I've never seen a scroll like that on an F4. A few other things don't look right either. Thoughts?

    I agree, the scroll is off as is the rosette. The finish looks suspect too.

    It does look (to me at least) like a 1915 F-4 on reverb. Link Try Again
    There is a headstock close-up in the images for that one.

    It appears to be an instrument that was re-worked at the factory in the 1930's or later.
