Hi guys. I found this old Greek bouzouki made in Ohio. I searched everywhere and came up with nothing. Actually, I think the only place that mentioned the name was this forum. Any ideas about age? How much is it worth? Thanks in advance.

Just because the writing inside is Greek doesn’t make it a bouzouki. From the looks of it its either a mandolin or a mandola. Which? Measure the distance from the nut to the twelfth fret and double it. If it’s more or less 13 inches, it’s a mandolin. If it’s more like 17 inches it’s a mandola.
‘fraid I can’t help with age or value but ton’t set yiur sights too high!
Weldome to the forum.
Nothing electric about it, and it's not a bouzouki. It's a lefty mandolin. I wouldn't count on it having much value.

Dinos is a reputable maker of good quality instruments. I'm sure if you dig around (google?) you'll find lots of mention on the Greek bouzouki forums. I had one years ago - it was very good quality.
*Er, actually I think mine was a Sakis now that I (kind of) recall.
It has a 9v battery inside...

It is 15.5 inches. Does it mean it is a mandola?
It's not a bouzouki for sure!

"If you mean "mandola" in the traditional American sense, the range is from "15" to 17." "

"For the record, Gibson's scale for the H series mandolas was 15 3/4""
Just a note - the Greek Lauto is also tuned CGDA, although it's re-entrant.
Enjoy the mandola.
