What is this?Looks like a Flatiron 1N or something along those lines
I’m not aware of any actual Gibson model like this. Is this one if those gift shop toys I read about a while back. I’m no good at posting the link , try shopgoodwill.com

Those were sold at the Gibson Opry Mills store as a tourist souvenir. They are basically a mandolin shaped object. They were using a cut down Epiphone truss rod cover screwed onto the headstock that said Gibson and there is no truss rod under the cover. They are made out of what can only be described as Luan type plywood. They would even paint them for you in different colors. I got one in a purchase of several instruments years ago when I was actively buying and selling. They don't carry the Gibson warranty and the one I had was pretty much unplayable. They sold for $199.00 and you can read more about them here.

Just checked: they seem to have learned from the last time they listed one of these, and it started to run up quickly. Then they pulled the listing, flipped the logo over (!) and relisted. Right now, two listings, same item, one ‘Gibson’ and one ‘unidentified’ Holding firm at opening price of $10.
Of course, it really is something ‘made’ by Gibson, so it’s a bit disingenuous to deny it, even to protect innocent bidders from uninformed speculation.
Or maybe the Gibson folks called to deny it.
So you have either 4 or 5 days to acquire it.
I'm trying to wrap my mind around the notion of an instrument whose most expensive component is the set of strings!
But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong. - Dennis Miller

Am very glad this site still warns folks about those MSO's.
On our only trip to Nashville, was thinking about stopping by Opry Mills and getting one. Both the folks at Cotten Music and Gruhn Guitars warned me not to. Mighty glad they did as our finances were fairly stretched at the time. My wife did get a very nice Hopf fiddle at Gruhn anyway.
