BTW, I think that it's basically a one-man-band overdub project, perhaps with some additional vocalists.

Entirely fitting that it is on the Smithsonian label.
First tune I learned on guitar( and probably the only one I can still play) was Presbyterian Guitar, I hope it’s in there.
I'm really looking forward to hearing this.
I've heard a few bands do "Steam Powered Aeroplane" but never anything as great as Sam and NGR's version on "Commonwealth"

Good old Sam, he was pretty close with J.H. and played on many of his recordings as I understand it. He did play on Jamie Hartford's "A Part of Your History" tribute to his Dad's music, and Sam also co wrote Hartford's Reel with David Grisman.
