Default What tuners are these? Rigel A+ Deluxe (early 2000's)

    Hi,

I have an A+ Deluxe from @ 2000 or so. One of the screws on the tuner buttons must’ve come loose and fallen off at my last gig. Screw, pearloid head and gold sleeve are nowhere to be found. Which tuners are on there? Any chance you know where to buy one?

Most importantly…….I still LOVE this mando. My 1# on countless tours, sessions and gigs!!

    Thanks,

    Jim

Hope someone who knows for sure chimes in. But I am fairly confident they are Schaller tuners. They have a distinctive shaft between the worm and the buttons.

Schaller to my knowledge never used black on the worm, Grover did and the "engraving" looks very much like the Gibson Grovers I have. The Gibson Grovers did not come with black either. I'm pretty confident they are Grovers.

Yup, Grover. I doubt they still have them even though they are on the website. Another Schaller trait from this era was a slot head screw holding the cog. These are phillips.

    Correct, Rigel used Grover tuners.

Thanks. They are indeed Grovers. 308G model. No longer available.

The good news is that Rubner makes some really nice A style tuners.
