Default fMRI while playing music video or website?

Looking for a good YT or TED or other video that shows the effect of playing music using functional MRI imaging. I saw one a few years ago -- it might have been in the Atlantic or Harper's magazine -- but my non-functional brain can't recall where I found it. Would appreciate any references!

I am unclear what you are asking. Do you mean studies that revealed the effects of humans playing instruments on their brain patterns as revealed in MRIs?

This is not exactly MRI but as long as you count banjo as music this may relate.

I went to Google Scholar, the search engine for academics and researchers.
entered "fmri playing music" search and got more papers, study reports, and articles than I can list here.
Try that and see what catches your interest.
Two prominent researcher/writers are Daniel Levitin and Gary Marcus.

Ah, I see. I missed the fMRI … actually missed the “f” and this is used for brain mapping. So you are asking if they mapped brains while playing music or mapped the players brains to find out the effect of playing music?

Taking a mandolin into an MRI machine would not be a good idea, but I imagine one might simulate it with a nylon-strung, wood peg tuner version.

Thanks guys! I found this link, which shows a clip of active brain function while listening to music:
