I just look at it and think "That poor little thing." Wow.

A shame......and a snakehead, no less!
And a possible candidate for a new top . . .
"A little smushed:" . . . possibly equals "sat upon??"
Anyone want to practice their carving and varnishing skills?

"Don't leave your mando on the couch/ It just won't play . . .
By the time the auction ends it will be at a ridiculous amount of money.

I have a feeling it was refinished way before someone sat on it. So it might have started to be a loser even before.

A bunch of stuff with four strings
so far $172.50 with 38 minutes to go! NFI
Made $255 - what are the tuners and other hardware worth?
The tuners are the first oblong plate worm over gear Waverly type you see in the 20s into the 30s and are not particularly sought after. I would reckon all the metalware is about $120 maximum and then there is the neck which should be worth that, I would reckon, so as bits it is not a stupid price but not a steal.
